Gobble gobble

Howdy everyone!
Is it Monday already?
Since it is Thanksgiving Monday here,
a holiday,
I have pretty much been in total holiday mode.
That is, I haven't done too much today!

I did get out for a walk and it felt so good!
Which is good because we've had some giant, yummo
meals this weekend.
We had a turkey dinner at my parents house
on Saturday night
and brunch at my in-laws yesterday.
*spoiled*

My Grandma, who is 96 (yep!) was here for Thanksgiving too.
I'm on the left and that's my sis on the right...

And my pumpkin pies turned out...uhhh...so-so.
The pumpkin filling part was really good!
The crusts...meh.
Coulda been better,
they were pretty tough.
My daughter must have agreed, she just ate the filling...
heehee...
I need more practice.
I guess I'll just HAVE to make more pie.
That means I better get on the treadmill.

My mom had the kids make their own caramel apples!
They had fun making those and then they were off to play.

Then one of the adults had the idea to dip little
chocolate pumpkins into the caramel and candy!

We had a blast eating those little bites of goodness.

Back to the normal routine tomorrow.
Hope you all had a great weekend and a happy Monday!

that looks to be the best time together.

And look at your grandma - that photo of you 3 is to be treasured forever xx

We do not celebrate a thanksgiving or halloween in australia - it is certainly left up to you guys - you do it so well with your traditions.

have a wonderful day

WOW 96? Your grandma looks fantastic for her age and you and your sister are beautiful! So sorry the pumpkin pie didn't turn out as well as you had hoped but...crust made from scratch is hard! Enjoy the holidays ;)
