Lime Sherbet Wedding Punch

So I wanted to make a punch for the Halloween Party we had
but I didn't want it to be red or anything that would stain carpet.
Kidlets...you know how they are.
Oh who are we kidding,
I end up spilling more than my kids do.
I'm terrible for that!

So my Mom makes this punch that is from Paula Deen.
It's supposed to be a wedding punch because it's light and fluffy and pretty.
I made it because I thought it looked kind of like green slime if you mix it up a bit more.

And it is soooo tasty!
The kids couldn't get enough!
So try it out for your next bridal shower...
or Halloween Party!
Can't get much more versatile than that!

2 quarts lime sherbet
2 liters ginger ale
1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice
Lemon slices
Lime slices
Maraschino cherries (if desired)
*I didn't include any of the fruit for the Halloween version*
In a punch bowl, add 2 quarts of slightly softened lime sherbet. Then add ginger ale and pineapple juice. Decorate with lemon and lime slices and some maraschino cherries.

*Mix it up a bit if you want it looking slimier for Halloween!*

Sherri

Yummy

I'm coming over - I do like anything citrus-y

love the tang it gives - maybe that is why now I complain that they don't make those sherbet lollies like they used to either. It used to have quite a tang and now it is just nothing.

I am glad you had such a great time.

Have a wonderful day

This is awesome...do you remember in the 80s there was this Hi-C punch called Ecto Cooler? This totally reminds me of Ecto Cooler. I wonder if they make it anymore! I'll have to try this for the hoidays!
